Free Community Seed Bank

In addition to the Resource Library, Growing Roots also maintains a Free Community Seed Bank, a seed repository and swap location for small scale South Cumberland Plateau gardeners. Visit the Tracy City Community Garden during public garden hours or contact us to arrange a visit to the seed bank!

Plant Starts for your home garden

During growing season (Spring & Summer), Growing Roots often has extra plant starts for herbs and vegetables available for free to residents of Grundy, Franklin, and Marion counties. Please utilize these in your home garden, share the harvest with your neighbors, and help us increase #foodAccess for everyone! To ask about plants, message us on facebook, instagram, or here on our website.
